90% of the use of Beaver Builder for our users is editing content, not adding content.

Why does the “Add content” panel open by default whenever a page is opened for editing? 90% of the times the first action of the user is to shut down the content panel.

Also, the content panel disturbs the nice page view in the editor – the entire right side section of the page is hidden behind the “Add content”-panel.

The editor is so nice when the “content panel” is closed, and the “Add content” button is very visible so users that really are in there to add content will not have trouble finding that button.

    Hey Rasmus,

Thanks for the feedback! We just recently started discussing a UI refresh for later this year. I’ll definitely bring this up with the team then.

In the meantime, the panel does close on its own whenever you start editing. Just click a module and it will go away 🙂
