Another Hotel Website

Hi, folks!

I have another hotel website to showcase: http://oscarinn.com.br/

I’ve used Beaver Builder to layout the content of almost all pages (except the archives pages and the home page). The forms are built with Caldera Forms. For all the pages, only the header and the call-to-action are not Beaver Builder.

What do you guys think?

Looks fantastic, Diego! What kept you from being able to do the page headers with BB?

Justin

Hi, Justin! To be honest, when I was developing this project, I didn’t had much practice with Beaver Builder, so I did some thing the way that I used to do before. But I think that another factor was reusability. The images used at the headers are used too in the “resort” submenu as backgrounds for pages links. If I was using Beaver Builder for the header, I would need to set up the images twice.

For the call-to-action at the bottom, the simple fact is that Beaver Builder still don’t have the feature of saving parts of templates that, when changed, updates itself in all the instances used in a website. Of course, this will change when this feature finds its way at Beaver Builder (can’t wait for it)!

Hey Diego,

Thanks for the insight. Those submenus are super cool, I didn’t notice that!

I’ve needed that as well! We have one site that we built with BB that I have to change about 15 pages when they want to update one section. I’m hoping to start work on that and some other enhancements to templating in July.

Thanks,
Justin

Diego, this site looks great! Nice work. I was checking it out when you posted here, but I forgot to comment until now. Keep em coming!

I think it would be great to save a row/column/module settings as a ‘favourite’ This is then added to the right hand sidebar and you can drag it into any part of the website. If you modify it anywhere, it prompts you to update the favourite or update just on this page (and deassociates it from the favourite).

Hey Jay! Totally agree. This is on our roadmap, we’re tentatively calling it the “linked module” feature. I can’t say when this will be released (we honestly haven’t started building it yet), but it’s absolutely on our road map! Thanks for the suggestion.
