I have had 2 different clients complain that the font on their site is smaller than they would like. I have it set at 16 and it does still look fairly small. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Something I don’t know? What is a normal font size for a website? I think I’ve always worked in 12, but I could be wrong. Thanks for your help.

The font size we have on the forums is 16px. Is your site’s font size near the size of the words we have here? Do you think you can share the URL of the site in question so we can check? Chances are, you’re setting the sizes to 16px but another styling is overriding it.

I checked the site just now and it is using the exact same font-size as the one we have here and you have set, 16px. Personally, I think it’s fine. I did try making it 1px bigger and it kinda looks weird, but that’s just my personal opinion. It may have something to do with the font-family you’re using, or those clients just want bigger fonts.

Remember different fonts show in different sizes too. 16px in Roboto and Lato look different.
