Why does the Gravity Forms form button not show in the text editor when in the builder. I have to go to a normal page, use the button, then copy the code and go back to my page where I’m using the builder to paste it in to the text editor there.

Yes, that is by design actually as we don’t load in any 3rd party buttons or editor add-ons in the builder text editor module. Reason being, 3rd party editor enhancements were introducing too many unknowns/bugs. This might be something we look into changing someday, but for the near future it’s not a feature were planning to implement. Sorry about that.
