Loop background videos

Hello all. I’m a new happy camper using BB.

This is an offtopic, but here is my question:

Where can I get outstanding video loops like the ones provided in the templates? like Awestruck.mp4 and so on.

Free or paid.

You can find and purchase videos on pretty much any stock imagery site. Here is a link to iStock if you need it - http://www.istockphoto.com/.

Can we use also embed videos from other sources to display as background videos?

Hi Felix,

Not currently. Row background videos need to be available via the media manager so you would need to have the video to upload. You can embed videos using the actual video module, but not as a row background. We have discussed that as a feature that could be valuable and would love to get other user votes on that functionality. Feel free to add this feature request here!

One question for you on this - your demo uses a single MP4 file for the video, however it seems to be best practice to make a variety of formats available to allow compatibility with different browsers (webm f. ex).

Do you plan on incorporating this any time soon? I know some other page builders already have this functionality (Divi, Visual Composer).

I’m sorry for using this thread but it is related. I’m working on http://www.storytellingaj.com/ and would like to have the video height “full screen” but only way I found is playing with paddings, but that will depend on screen sizes. Is there a better way to display the background video to the full height of the screen?

Hey David,

Unfortunately, your best bet at the moment is the padding settings. You could attempt to do some custom CSS work if up to it, but the padding settings are the best we can offer at the moment within BB.

Surprised to see only 19 votes for using url for background videos instead of uploading to media library… Is there a reason why this is a feature that is being voted on and not included - this seems “to me” to be an obvious need based on most popular themes and other updated versions of site builders including visual composer.
