Option to Choose Template when creating a new Page is Missing

Hello,

I am using the BB Child Theme, changed the name of it’s folder too.

When I go to create a new page, the widget to choose the template I want to use is not showing up, so I can’t create a Landing Page without Header/Footer as this option is not available for me.

Plugin, theme and child theme are all up to date.

How can I fix this?

Hey Harold,

Thanks for getting in touch and welcome to the BB forums! The template can only be changed inside the standard WP Page editor, not within the Page Builder. What you want to do is click on Edit Page instead of Page Builder on the top menu of the page. Or you can just go to the page itself by going to Pages > All Pages on the WP admin menu. Then click on Edit on the page you wish to change the template. The templates should just be under Page Attributes.

I am not inside Page Builder, I am in the Create New Page area, and that screenshot you posted is exactly what is missing, it is what I am referring to. The Page Attribute to choose Template is missing.

I only see Parent and Order, Template option is Missing in Action.

Please advice.

Hey Harold,

Found the issue here. You had renamed the template in your child theme stylesheet. That has to be bb-theme and we’re not quite sure how the site was working without it being that at all! Regardless, you’re good to go with the page template option now.
