Hey guys, I like how clean your support site looks and setting up a site with bbpress right now. But noticed it wasn’t as clean. Did you customize it for your site or should it be included in BB theme?

Hi Viktor! Thanks so much for the kind words. We did customize our bbpress install a bit.
First, we followed this awesome tutorial by Pippin Williamson on how to configure bbpress as a support forum:

Then we overrode a few of the bbpress template files and did some modifications to get it the way we like. Plus a bit of CSS too.
Is there any particular part of the forum that you like, or that you’re having trouble recreating? We’d be happy to share some of our markup 
Thanks for quick reply Robby. I’ve only set it up and did not make any changes yet, I wanted to make sure to see the scope of work I need to put into this. Mostly these are CSS changes, colors, fonts, etc. One thing I do like is your search bar at the top. Is that pure CSS or requires some additional coding? I have not tried to re-create it yet.

Yeah, I am pretty sure we overrode the bbpress template files in our child theme and added the search bar to the top.
