hello, I am setting up many content sliders with videos, the problem I have is that when the user goes to the next slide, the video in the previous slide keeps playing and then you have multiple audio issue, how do I get the video to automatically pause when user click to move away from a slide to another one?
Sorry, I really can’t guarantee anything right now as the guys are pretty swamped with the recent holiday. But rest assured, bugs are looked into first compared to enhancements and new implementations.
Hello, just wondering if anything ever came of this? I have a client site that has the same issue, is there maybe a better way to handle videos in slides, or maybe a bit of javascript that someone has used to force stop videos on slide change? I’m thinking that if the slider has a javascript API, maybe there’s a simple way to intercept a slide change and reset all video instances?
(Or better yet a checkbox on some BB settings page that I can click : )
Oops, let me backtrack a little…it looks like the client pasted youtube embed code into a testimonial slider, not a content slider, so that probably was the issue, sorry about that!
Playing with the content slider, it looks like what they want is the text plus video slide type, I’m wondering though if there’s any way to to make the embed responsive or full-width within the slider without writing custom CSS hacks? No problem if not, I know it’s an iframe issue and not a Beaver Builder issue, but if there is a built-in workaround I’d love to know about it.
Unfortunately, there isn’t. The only way you could do this would be to use the video as a background for the Row. However, this option doesn’t support embed, only uploading the video files (.mp4 and .webM).
If you want this functionality, I recommend you using a more advanced slider such as Revolution Slider.
